Additional Informations
Pearl onions, like all types of onions, do not appear on the list of foods with high histamine content, nor among foods that delay histamine breakdown or those considered histamine liberators. Onions, as part of the allium family, have even been studied for their potential antihistamine effects, suggesting they could potentially lower histamine levels.
However, this doesn't necessarily mean pearl onions would have the same effect. Since food can variably affect histamine levels depending on how it is prepared or processed, it is possible that pickled pearl onions, for example, could have a different impact due to the presence of vinegar, a known high-histamine food.
Unfortunately, exact information regarding the impact of pearl onions on histamine levels is not widely available. This product has not been researched well enough to publish any information. Our team is working hard on this. Data will be available soon.
