Additional Informations
Nopales, also known as prickly pear cactus, is a food item that is rich in a host of bioactive compounds, including fiber, vitamins and antioxidants, but there is limited data on its specific impact on histamine levels. There are no current studies or scientifically verified resources that can definitively link nopales consumption to a direct impact, either as a histamine provider, a histamine liberator or an inhibitor of histamine breakdown in the body.
However, due to the high antioxidant levels present in nopales, it can potentially contribute to overall health and well-being and might support the body's immune system and inflammation response. The anti-inflammatory properties of the bioactive compounds found in nopales could potentially have a secondary impact on histamine levels. These compounds could help calm inflammation and thereby diminish the body's need to release histamine.
Until more specific research is conducted, we are unable to provide a conclusive statement about the exact effect of nopales on histamine levels. This product has not been researched well enough to publish any informations, our team is working hard on this. Data will be available soon.
